ICSS Engineer

Join our team as an ICSS Engineer, specializing in Integrated Control & Safety Systems for oil & gas projects. Handle design, engineering, testing, installation, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with international standards. Collaborate across disciplines, support procurement, cybersecurity, and safety studies, and contribute to field activities and Smart Plant Instrumentation. 🚀

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for execution of Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) related to greenfield/brownfield oil & gas industry, covering design, engineering, testing, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Fully conversant with international standards like API, ISA, BS, IEC, and ISO, ensuring compliance with major client standards (Shell-DEP, EM GP, Chevron).
  • Coordinates with end-users, engineering contractors, subsystem vendors, and other disciplines (safety, process, electrical, HVAC, telecom) while supporting third-party safety studies.
  • Handles procurement engineering activities, including purchase requisitions, vendor evaluations, technical bid assessments, and document reviews for control systems and instrumentation.
  • Performs design calculations for intrinsic safety, flow metering sizing, control valve sizing, thermowells, and pressure relief device selection.
  • Leads control system activities (DCS, ESD, F&G, RTU), including engineering document reviews, specifications, loop drawings, FAT/SAT procedures, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Prepares instrument data sheets, junction box schedules, instrument indexes, I/O lists, and material take-offs (MTOs).
  • Actively participates in engineering meetings, contractor discussions, cross-functional reviews, and multi-disciplinary studies such as hazard risk analysis and fire & gas mapping.
  • Expertise in Smart Plant Instrumentation, including database setup, specification forms, loop templates, report generation, and training.
  • Conducts field engineering activities, addresses construction queries, performs hand-over checks, and ensures QC/QA compliance as an instrumentation & control representative.
Qualifications/Skillsets:
  • Degree or higher in Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
  • Preferred industry-recognized certification (e.g., Control System, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity).
  • At least 15 to 18 years of experience with Engineering Contractors, Construction Contractors, and Automation Contractors.
  • Collaborative and team player, self-motivated, creative, versatile, and independent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent presentation abilities.

Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to assess risks, develop security policies, and implement robust security solutions. You will conduct IT audits, perform vulnerability assessments, manage security projects, and ensure compliance. Protect critical business data, infrastructure, and systems while driving security best practices and awareness programs. 🚀

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer business needs, gather user requirements, and perform ethical, high-quality IT audits to protect critical business data, systems, and networks.
  • Develop policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools aligned with customer needs, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments on new/existing systems and third-party systems, identifying potential risks and recommending action plans.
  • Present risk assessment findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
  • Design, develop, and implement security solutions for assets such as servers, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and data diodes.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, traceability matrices, build documents, and test plans.
  • Execute vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, source code reviews, and implement industry-standard system hardening procedures.
  • Deploy security features such as IDS, IPS, EDR, PAM, SIEM, and DDoS protection.
  • Manage security project implementations, including installation, testing, and project handover to O&M teams.
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and compliance reviews to ensure security control effectiveness.
  • Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
Qualifications/Skillsets:
  • Diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology/Systems.
  • Preferred industry-recognized certification (e.g., CCNA, CISSP).
  • Experience in networking, network devices, and operating systems such as Windows and Linux, including security hardening.
  • Experience in cybersecurity technologies such as Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPN, Proxy, IPS, IDS, EDR, SIEM, PAM, and DDoS protection.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of information security experience with hands-on experience in penetration testing (PT) and vulnerability assessment (VA).
  • Experience in developing PT steps, methods, procedures, and deploying relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of attack techniques, methods, and vulnerabilities in various operating systems and application platforms.
  • Familiar with common security vulnerabilities and threats in network and application systems.
  • Competence in identifying and evaluating security vulnerabilities and threats using appropriate tools.
