ICSS Engineer

- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in execution of Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) related to greenfield/brownfield oil & gas energy industry sector specific basic/detailed design, engineering, factory acceptance testing, site installation, site acceptance testing, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities in compliance with corporate, national, international standards/regulations.
- Fully conversant with international standards like API, ISA, BS, IEC & ISO quality management system and knowledge about major clients standard Shell-DEP, EM GP, Chevron and ensuring project compliance.
- Responsible in coordination with end-user, engineering contractor, construction contractor and main automation contractor, subsystem package vendors and other inter-engineering disciplines (safety, process, electrical, HVAC, telecom) and supporting third party safety studies .
- Procurement engineering activities such as purchase requisitions, evaluating vendor offers, technical queries, technical bid evaluations, and reviewing vendor documents for control system and instrumentation such as valves, in-line flow meters, special instruments like radio metric level, fire and gas, custody meters and analyzer shelters.
- Perform design calculations for intrinsic safety, flow metering sizing, control valve sizing, thermowells, pressure relief device selection etc.
- Leading control system related activities (DCS, ESD, F&G, RTU) such as reviews of engineering documents including, but not limited to, functional design specification, control narratives, cause and effect matrix equipment and system specifications, loop drawings, vendor drawings, GA drawings, instrument hook-ups, FAT/SAT procedures, instrument equipment layout, etc. relevant to control system, safety system and fire & gas system, machine monitoring systems including associated Cyber security solutions.
- Preparation of instrument data sheets, junction box schedule, instrument index, I/O list, instrument MTO’s,
- Actively participate and contribute participating engineering meetings and reviews including, but not limited to, contractor meetings, cross-functional meetings, and multi-disciplinary studies such as hazard risk analysis and fire & gas mapping studies, interface management and coordination with package vendor.
- Expertise in Smart Plant Instrumentation, familiar with setup and developing instrument databases, creating specification forms, loop templates, imports, report generations, and providing training.
- Field engineering activities, attending construction queries, carry out hand-over checks and QC/QA sign-offs as an instrumentation & control discipline representative.
Qualifications/Skillsets
- Degree or higher in Instrumentation & Control System Engineering .
- Preferred industry recognized certification (e.g., Control system, Functional safety, Cyber security)
- At least 15 to 18 years of expirence with Engineering Contractor, Construction Contractor and Automation Contractor.
- Collaborative and team player, self-motivated, creative, versatile and independent.
- Strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand customer business needs, gather user requirements, performing ethical & high-quality IT audit work with an objective of protecting customer critical business information (data), systems and network infrastructure.
- Develop policies, procedure, guidelines, tools in adherence to customer business needs, best practices/frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessment on new/existing systems and third-party systems by identifying potential risks and recommend action plans to reduce the risks.
- Articulate and present the risk assessment findings in both written and verbal forms to internal and external stakeholders in a way easy to understand and implement.
- Design, develop and execute security strategy/solutions for assets such as servers, switches, routers, firewall, data diodes, routers, VPN, proxy, etc.,
- Prepare relevant documentation such as design specification, requirement traceability matrix, design and build document, functional and user acceptance test plans.
- Execution of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, source code review and security configuration and implement industry standard system hardening procedures.
- Deploy established security features such as IDS, IPS, EPS/EDR, PAM, SIEM, DDOS etc.,
- Manage the security project implementation such as installation, testing and project management including handover projects to O&M teams.
- Perform system maintenance & upgrades/rollout such as service packs, patches, hotfixes, signature conditions, security configuration changes and facilitate periodic disaster recovery exercises.
- Conduct periodic VA on security controls to identify, diagnose, analyze and resolve security gaps/threats/faults/incidents in accordance with compliance requirements. Also conduct periodic compliance review on existing security control effectiveness
- Able to carry-out cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
Qualifications/Skillsets
- Diploma or higher in computer science/engineering or information technology/systems
- Preferred industry recognized certification (e.g., CCNA, CISSP)
- Experience in networking, network devices and operating systems such as Windows, Linux including security hardening.
- Experience in cybersecurity technologies such as FW, Switches, Routers, VPN, Proxy, IPS, IDS, EPS/EDR, SIEM, PAM, DDOS etc.,
- At least 3 to 5 years of information security experience with hands-on experience in performing penetration testing (PT)/vulnerability assessment (VA).
- Experience with developing PT steps, methods, procedures, and deploying relevant tools.
- Understanding of all kinds of attack techniques/methods and vulnerabilities of various operating systems/application platforms.
- Familiar with the common security vulnerabilities and threats of network/application systems.
- Competence in identification and evaluation of security vulnerabilities and threats with the use of appropriate tools.
